Go-Kart

An impromptu go-karting trip to Malaysia on Sunday was decided over an impromptu prawning trip on Saturday night.

No photos because I didn’t bring my camera along.
Jiahui and Gladys took some photos, but I don’t have it yet.

Jam at the customs, slight drizzle, rocky roads ahead.. these small deterrents didn’t managed to spoil our enthusiasm for the trip!

Go-karting is fun, but not for me…..
My automotive skills were never fantastic, and as expected, I’m always the slowest driver.
Argh!

The guys had so much fun that they went for 4 sessions.
I only played 2 sessions while Jiahui and Jane played 3.
Gladys wasn’t interested at all. Hoohoo.

Did some shopping at Holiday Plaza after go-karting, and I got myself an Abercombie top for only RM20!
And also a keychain and handphone strap. Gee…

Dinner was also settled in JB before we returned to SG.
There was a huge jam at customs, and by the time we reached home, it’s almost 11pm.

It was a tiring but fulfiling weekend, with swimming,prawning, go-karting, shopping and good food!

And now, it’s back to work on a blue blue Monday.
Boo…

Victoria’s Secret

Recently, I bought a bottle of Victoria’s Secret Body Mist – Pear Glace at Central.
It is slightly more costly to buy locally.

The scent is not very lastly, but surprisingly, I really love it!
Even Fion likes the fruity scent and I got a bottle for her for Xmas.

On a shopping trip with my beloved Audz, I realised that alot of places in SG is selling VS body mist.
Far East, Cineleisure, etc..
And some girls in beauty forums said that even Mustafa is selling VS body mist!

Hoohoohoo!

I can’t wait to finish my current bottle so that I can buy other VS scents.
Or perhaps, I won’t even wait until my Pear Glace is finished before I stock up on others.

Gee….

One down, One more to go.

I finally completed the first OB assignment and submitted it before the deadline!

The queer Polly can only get her inspiration in the wee hours.……
It seriously does not help even when I am seated in front my laptop at 7pm; I still can’t get a proper sentence out.
Once the clock strikes 12, almost magically, the words start flowing and I can go on and on and on and on…

Tsk tsk.
Been sleeping at 5am for the past 2 nights to churn out a decent report.
Tonight, I can finally have a good night’s rest but I am still blogging away….

Xmas is coming! But I am feeling no Xmas mood at all. :(
No Xmas lights at Orchard, no Xmas shopping, no Xmas gift-wrapping, no Xmas holidays…

I can’t feel the joyous atmosphere at all.

Sigh..
I hope things will pick up by Xmas eve.

Do I know?

When I was 21, I had very clear directions in life.
I want a place of my own, I want a stable job which pays well, I want a degree, and I want to get somewhere in life.
Two years later, most of my aims and targets are achieved.

But, do I really know what I want in life?
Am I contented with a 8 – 5 job for the rest of my life?
Am I contented with a small 3-roomed HDB?

Is there something bigger, something more significant?
Something out there which is waiting for me to discover?

Suddenly, I am reduced to my teenage-hood.
The confused girl whom does not know where is she supposed to be heading towards.
Peeling off the layers of defense which I learnt to built around myself after years of toiling, there lies a low self-esteemed and insecure girl whom is bewildered by the changes which are occurring within herself.

My 13th month AWS is supposed to be credited on the 15th Dec, but IT IS NOT IN YET!!!!!!!

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our AWS had ALWAYS been credited before middle of Dec, and this is the first time in 5 years that it’s late!
ARGHHH!!

I don’t have $$ to pay off my credit card bills now!

Sucks!

Twilight is finally here!
Ray had been very nice by trying to be interested, in order not to dampen my mood but I caught him yawning in the cinema. Haha!

The movie isn’t VERY fantastic, but I still love it.
I love anything about Bella and the Cullens.

I feel like re-reading the 4 books from the Twilight Saga all over again, after watching the movie!
Good thing that I bought the books, instead of borrowing.

I should probably buy The Host by Stephenie Meyer also!
Since I have been suffering from vampires withdrawal syndromes ever since I finished Twilight Saga.

Going to bed now, I am on leave tomorrow!

I need 48 hours a day…..

Facebook is seriously a bad addiction.

For the past 3 nights, I have been getting less than 5 hours of sleep per day.
All because I stayed up to park my cars, buy my friends, and level up in Mobwars.

YAWN!!

When I went to Hougang Swimming Complex for a swim with Mei on Monday, I noticed that they are open at 6.30am on Mon, Wed, Fri and Sun for morning swims.

I wanna set a fixed routine of swimming before work!
But I doubt I will wake. Haha! :x

Speaking of a fixed sports routine, I am kinda interested in taking tennis lessons.
Marvin asked, ‘how about your squash?’
Tsk tsk.. I totally forgot that I was really ‘passionate’ about squash a few months ago..

Good thing that I didn’t buy a personal squash racquet after all.
It’s all about Polly and her 3-min thingy…….

Had a nice dinner with Jeff + gang at Chomp Chomp on Monday night.
Met friends whom I haven’t seen for ages!

I still recall that we had a private channel in IRC; Cozybikers.
Hooohooo.
Even Busa made a special guest appearance.

Seeing them remind me of the days when we will go riding almost every other day, and of cos, the frequent kopi sessions.
At a point of time, I think I see more of them than of my family.

Of bikes and riding. Suddenly……
I miss the feel of wind against my helmet.
I miss the weaving in and out of traffic.
I miss the curses and swears when it starts to rain.
I miss riding my bike.

Sigh. Those were the days.

I had dinner with Charmaine and Stephanie at Sakae Sushi yesterday.

It’s the first time I met up with Charmaine after she became a Mrs!
I missed her wedding as it clashed with my granny’s funeral.

Seeing them made me realised how much I missed all of them.
Pearl had to prepare for her coming exams and couldn’t join us.
We probably will have more fun if she was there.

Next week will be Granny’s 100th day of passing on.
The memory of her having dinner with us at Jane’s place is still so fresh.

The coming Chinese New Year’s reunion dinner will be a lonely one, because she is not with us anymore.

Ah Ma, I miss you.
