26 Sep 2008 – Friday Night

Last Friday, Ray and me had dinner at Longhouse.
The carrot cake at Longhouse is really nice! Almost comparable to the carrot cake sold in Changi V.

Winnie and Ad joined us, and we decided to go adjourn to IceKimo for dessert.

It’s a really nice place!
The last time I came here, was for Cyndi’s 21st birthday and that was like 3 years ago.

Check out the wide range of ice-cream favours! Yummlicious!

Winnie and Ad, taking turns to pose for my camera while waiting for the ice-cream.

A really ugly photo of Raymond!
You won’t even notice that it is him, unless you look really closely.
He hates me for uploading these photos. Haha!

Alright, here is a proper shot of him.
My boyfriend is not bad-looking k! I just like to uglify him to keep away the unnecessary attention. *blinks innocently*

Our ice-cream!
I orderd a single scoop of Nutella, and Ray ordered a single scoop of Durian.
Adrian ordered double scoops, of Nutella and Durian. DUH!
He should have just ordered something different so that we can try more favours ma!

Adrian trying to ‘act cool’ and they purposely left a big gap when I wanna take a photo of them.

They finally closed up the gap, and Ad had to act funny.

My man, again.
So handsome!! *slurps*

Polly and Winnie.

Polly and Adrian.

Polly and Ray! *hearts*

Ad had this funny expression caught on my camera.
Haha!
Why can’t you guys just pose PROPERLY when I asked you to do so?
When you try to siam or something, I always captured candid shots and I never failed to upload the photos.

After dessert, we went to Yishun Dam.
Ray just enrolled for bike lessons (-.-") and he wanna check out the bikes.
Though I already told him that Yishun Dam is no longer a hot spot for bikers, even on a Friday night.

True enough, there isn’t much bikes when we reached.
So the four of us just hanged around to chit-chat.

Check out how horny Winnie is.

And someone else is horny as well!
Not naming anyone, but it should be pretty easy to guess.

Winnie and me.
Take note that I am wearing the charm bracelet which Berry gave me for my birthday.

Marvin kept complaining that I didn’t thank him and Berry for the presents which they bought for me.
But I already wore the Nike Sports Bra, and it is still in my laundry bag, waiting to be washed.
How can I take photos with a soiled bra???????
Duhz.

After Yishun Dam, we headed to Jalan Kayu for supper.
I ate again! Gosh…
Had a prata which isn’t very nice.

Last photo before I end the entry.

Next photo entry will be on Marilyn’s Bachelorette Party at Lunar!
Ciao!

Ohayo!

Good morning!

It’s a bright and sunny Saturday morning!
I love waking up early on weekends, because it means I have longer weekends instead of just sleeping them away! :)

Alright, I gotta wash up and wait for Winnie to fetch me to the gym.

We are going to Berry’s place to swim after gym!
Hoohoo!

Cleaning!

I am supposed to spend the day cleaning my house, because I wanna buy a new bookshelf.
So, I have to clear out my wardrobe, so that I can keep / wash the clothes which are on my table.

THEN, I can remove the table (probably put it in the living room).
The new bookshelf can be shifted into my room AFTER I move out the table.

Sigh.. It’s 3pm already and I am still facing my laptop.. Nothing done.

I really need to go. NOW.
Ray is so gonna laugh at me when he found out that I didn’t complete a single household chore for the whole day loh.

:(

I hate housework.

Why Is This So?

I wonder why…..

Why is there Jurong East and Jurong West, but no Jurong North or Jurong South?
Why is there Bedok North and Bedok South, but no Bedok East or Bedok West?

Hmmm… *pondering*

20 Sep 2008 – Super Import Night

Finally, Saturday is here.
Had no plans for the weekend, and felt kinda lost.

August, my weekends were filled with activities like swimming, beach volleyball, etc.
September, I feel rather aimless. I never even go to Amore as often as I would like to.

Partly because I am lazy and partly, I don’t like to carry a heavy gym to office.
Perhaps, it isn’t such a bad idea that I decided not to continue my Amore package in 2009.

On a brighter note, Winnie decided to give me her old Ipod Nano, after she bought the new one!
Ray already gave me the Nike Plus Ipod Kit for my birthday, and all I need to do now is to pop by Queensway and get a pair of Nike Plus sports shoes.
And I can start running and tracking my runs online! So excited!
I might even be able to register for the 10km Shape Run next year, instead of 5km.
Grinz.

I had a sudden craving for Ubi Malay Chicken Rice when I woke up, and Winnie said she might be joining.
Ray heard about the Super Import Nightfrom Jason, and was rather keen to go.
Coincidentally, Weihao + gang were heading to Ubi for lunch too.
So Ray and me went to join them, but I didn’t get to eat the malay chicken rice because the stall was under renovations. :(

Winnie and Adrian joined us shortly, and Weihao + gang left.
Seems like they wasn’t really interested in the car show, and Adrian can’t make it as well.
Ray was rather persistent and in the end, his colleague Chang + gf joined us at Singapore Expo.

Photobucket
Ray and me, while waiting for Chang and gf.
He is always in green, because green is supposed to be his lucky colour for the year.

Photobucket
Chang
and his gf, Natalie.
It’s my first time meeting her, and I think she is rather pretty and sweet-looking.

I was surprised when Ray told me that she is younger than me.
Everyone is younger than me nowadays.
It’s ok though! I look young and I’m still young at heart. *shrugs*

Photobucket
The first two cars which we saw when we stepped into the exhibition hall.

The guys immediately went ‘gosh, this is impressive’ when they saw the cars.
I can’t see a difference between these 2 cars and those normal cars on the road though, except for lots of stickers.

Photobucket
I  think the artwork is quite nice!
Stii, kinda too flashy to drive this car on the road.

Photobucket
The engine / parts is supposed to be super powerful but I don’t understand.

Photobucket
Batman Logo!

Photobucket
Raymond is trying to peek into the car.
For once, he met his match. (This car’s windows are as dark as his)

Photobucket
I don’t know what car model is this, but I quite like it!
Small and petite, it suits me just fine!
(Plus I was wearing white, so the photo look nice)

Photobucket
Ray was obsessed with Type R.
And it was this obession which drove him to enrol for Class 2B. Zzzzzz.. Long story. Some other day.

Photobucket
Normally, car parts don’t interest me (neither do bike parts).
I’m just not a very automobile person.
But the lightings make this rim very bright and shiny. Very pretty. And I like pretty things.

Photobucket
The angle which Ray took this photo was not good, and I look really tiny beside this car.
To my surprise, I saw a familiar face – Bridget!
She is working at this car booth. So I gave my best wide grin and……………………

Photobucket
And asked her if I can pose for a photo with me behind the wheel, inside the Fairlady.

Moments ago, I asked Ray why everyone only take photos beside the car, and not inside the car.
He said it was the norm and I don’t really dare to open the car doors and sit inside the car.

I was really kinda happy to see Bridget cos I get to sit in the car. Haha!
(ok that was really bimbo..)

Photobucket
Check out the I.C.E!
I think this is really cool and chio la! But impractical cos I won’t be able to dump my barang-barang in the boot.

Woohoo, I think it’s really cool that I know how to use the noun, I.C.E.
There was an episode in April, during Ju’s chalet.
Weihao said he can’t put stuff in his boot, because of his I.C.E.
I thought he was referring to ICE, as in frozen liquid. *roll eyes*

Photobucket
Lastly, before I end the post of Super Import Night, is a photo of Ray and his dream car.

The entrance fee cost $10 each, and Ray said that was a waste of money because there isn’t much to see.
It was an eye-opener for me. (Cos not I pay ma…)

The only regret was I didn’t charge my camera again!
And the battery died on me so I didn’t managed to take alot of photos.

Sigh. I must remember to charge my battery daily.

Ciao!

17 Sep 08 – My 1st Birthday with Lemon

1 week before my birthday, I met Raymond everyday after work, and even spent the nights at his place.

On Monday, he declared that he needed the day off, so that he can prepare my birthday present.
In the end, he gotta work late on Monday so he asked for time off on Tuesday again.
I whined non-stop about having to eat dinner alone, so he didn’t managed to buy my present on Tuesday again. Haha!

Actually I didn’t want him to waste $$ on presents, because he is saving up to change car.
I’m being such a nice girlfriend.

Anyway, he bought dinner for me and it was just another normal Tuesday night.
Then, as soon as the clock strikes 12 (well, almost)…

Ta-da! My birthday cake!
A cheeky Raymond used 24 small candles, instead of the traditional 2 big candles + 4 small candles.
And the candles melted so fast that the cake became a mess.
But still delicious and sweet.

He insisted that I take a photo with the cake, but I was in my specs and messy hairdo.
So I had no choice but to do this to myself in the photo.

Next day, I still had to work.
Birthday only ma.. Cannot waste my leave which I am saving for my exams.

In the morning, Ray commented that my top was too low and wanted me to change.
His tone was so rude that I was instantly pissed and it kinda spoilt my birthday mood. (not that I was THAT eagar to celebrate my birthday at all. He just made it worse)

Anyway, I cooled down by afternoon and he picked me up from work to have dinner.

Dinner was settled at somewhere near Boat Quay.
It was a Japanese Grilled Restaurant, and the food was really delicious!
The namecard is with Ray, so we will probably wait for Marv to return from US and ask him along for a 2nd round!

After dinner, Ray announced that the next surprise is Singapore Flyer.
I was genuinely surprised…… surprised that he will be so uncreative.
Marv brought Berry to the Singapore Flyer for her birthday, and Winnie did the same for Adrian. So…….. Haha.

Before we board the Flyer.
But the background was so dark that nothing can be caught on camera.

Raymond is Mr Horny!
I suspected he wore this top, because he know that I am in green.
Anyway, wearing green to Singapore Flyer was a mistake.
We get to pose for a photo before we board the Flyer, and the background was green (no other options).
Didn’t buy that photo, because Ray’s body was invisible against the green background.

I like the red lights behind us!
Romantic!

1 more photo, before we board the Singapore Flyer!

We are finally onboard..

Again, the background is too dark to be caught on my camera.
I think it’s some camera configuration which I don’t know how to adjust.

It’s actually quite boring. So we cam-whore.

Another one.

I didn’t managed to capture alot of nice photos on the night view, because I’m not a good photographer.
I think Ray took this photo.

The tall building is within my grasp!

Taking turns to pose beside the window.

Ray is afraid of heights!

I am pointing towards the Esplanade. :)

Last pic before we stepped out of the cabin.

After we alight, we will guided to a souvenir shop where the sales person didn’t even bother to serve us, knowing that we are Singaporeans and will not spend $$ in this shop.

We spot the mini Singapore Flyer!

So what if I’m short!
I wanna be a SIA girl!!!

Ray said the SIA uniform was too big for me, and asked me to try the kid’s sizing.
Duhz.

Errm, hello Uncle Raymond.

After we left the shop, we headed to Popeye Chicken, where another surprise awaits me…

Winnie and Adrian!
(He is not in the photo because he was buying food).
I didn’t expect to see both of them, because it was a weekday and our Ms Leong never like hanging out late on weekdays.

Angel Polly VS Devil Polly

Devil Winnie VS Devil Winnie
(this is no such thing as an Angel Winnie – already extinct)

I was sulking, because Winnie told me that my birthday present is strawberry jam. :(

Of cos, she dotes on me too much to do this to me.
Me with my presents from Winnie and Adrian, which I reminded her to wrap because I like to unwrap presents.

Gloves to keep my hands warm in office!
I am wearing this pair of gloves as I’m typing away now.
My office is really very cold, because I am in the warehouse where chemicals had to be stored below a certain temperature.

This is a big surprise! La Senza member card with lots of discount coupons!

And lastly….. Loreal Perfect Slim Body-Sculpting Lotion. This product is supposed to get rid of my cellulite.
Haha.

Shit, I realised that I didn’t have a photo of Ray’s present for me.
He got me the Nike Plus Ipod Runner Kit which I always wanted.

Thanks darlings!!
:)

Happy Birthday to Me!

Happy Birthday to Myself!

I am officially 18 years old!
So excited!!

Ambitions, Targets, Goals, Achievements

Do you have any ambitions?
Like those kids on TV; ‘I want to be a lawyer / doctor/ policeman when I grow up’.

I don’t.
Since young, I never had a clear vision of what am I going to be when I ‘grow up’.
I just know that I want to make lots of money!

Define ‘grown-up’.
Is there a specific age to being considered a ‘grown-up’? Will it be 18 years old, 21 years old, or 30 years old?
Will it be when you start working, or when you are married?

Is there some rules to what one must have already achieved by a certain age?
Must one possess a good and stable career by the age of 25?
Must one buy a car by the age of 28?
Must one be married by the age of 30?
Must one have at least 5-figured savings by the age of 35?
Must one be the owner of a property by the age of 38?

So, now that I am soon approaching the ripe old age of 24, what had I achieved?
Nothing. Nil. Empty. Blank.
I aren’t really looking forward to the birthday.

To me, birthday is a cruel reminder that you are yet another year old, with no greater achievement.
I tried to pretend to be excited by the ‘what do you want for your birthday’ questions, and said my graceful thanks for the early birthday wishes.

But all I really want to do, is to hide in my bed and cover myself with a thick blanket, praying that this dreadful day which marks the 24th year of my meaningless existence in the world be over soon.

08 September 2008 – Ray’s colleagues Birthday Chalet

Monday evening, Ray was going to attend his colleague’s birthday chalet at Chevron.
It is in Jurong, and Ray said he can pick me up from work.

So… I tagged along! *grinz*

Though I was kinda disappointed with the food.
I thought it was a BBQ, and I can get to eat BBQ chicken or something.
In the end, it was more of a catered buffet.

Feeling bored, I whipped out my camera, and took photos of all the army boys.

I don’t know why all of them shunned my camera.
Marv and Adrian love to cam-whore with me loh!
Maybe army boys don’t like to take photos. Or they are simply acting coy. -.-"
Alex was the only exception, and gladly strike the 2-finger-act-cute pose.

Soon, the rest warm up.
I forgot their name! Cute little army boys.
Too bad, I didn’t get to see all of them in uniform.
I think my nose will bleed… *wipe saliva*

Arnold, aka Wx!
It sure is a small small world, when he turns out to be Ray’s colleagues and one of the SBF-ers.

Ray and me. *hearts*

Really full after dinner. Check out his bloating stomach.

All of them!
With the birthday boy in the center.

Somehow, I managed to convince Alex and Barney to….

喜,怒,哀,乐!
Gee…

Last photo before I end my updates.
Myself and the cute Barney.
He is younger than me! *gasp*

06 September 2008 – Jane’s Stall at East Coast Park

Jane had been engaging in some online business, selling clothes from Taiwan, Hongkong and Korea.
One fine day, she decided to rent a small stall at East Coast Park and try retail selling, hoping to create awareness for her site.

Naturally, she managed to convince us to help out.
So Fion, Mummy and myself were at the stall to accompany her.
We They are busying setting up now.

Really cheap earrings!
I took a few for myself. Haha.

Masks which she imported from Taiwan, selling at $1.80 per piece only.
It’s really cheap, and I also bought quite alot of myself. Gee.

Finally, the items for sale are all displayed.
Ready for customers!

Fion and me.
I had to control myself, not to laugh out loud when she strikes my signature 2-finger act cute pose.

I was trying to capture the clothes rack behind me.
Apparently, I failed.

Photobucket
My two sisters.
Fion and Jane, the lady boss.

And lastly, my mummy!

There isn’t much customers, and I was really bored.
Hence….

Cam-whoring!
I uploaded the photos on Facebook, and Ray was like, ‘wow, so many photos of you ar.’
Gee.

Photobucket
Last one!
This dress is from Jane.
She insisted that all of us wear the clothes that she sold, so as to be her walking advertisement.
