I didn’t managed to get any photos of the above run from Berry.
Instead, Nike uploaded their photos on their site.
Winnie stayed at my place the night before the run, to make sure that I don’t overslept.
I had a pretty good rest, though she complaint that she don’t sleep well on a strange bed and I used my fingers to dig her mouth in the middle of the night. *shrugs*
To our amazement, Berry wasn’t late!
Marvin sent her to East Coast and they were only 5 minutes later then us.
I was rather excited as this is my first outdoor run. :D
Before the run start, we were made to gather for a short briefing, and they did some introduction on Nike’s latest product, the Nike Sports Band.
As you can see, Winnie was not paying attention and biting her nails.

We did some warmup exercise.
Here, you can have a clear view of Winnie’s big backside.
She dressed herself in matching pink top, pink shorts, pink shoes and I suspect even pink sportsbra.

The run!
I saw the camera and managed to smile and pose as usual.
Berry got a funny expression and Winnie is almost in the air.
I think I’m the only one whom look good! Muahahahaahaha.

Winnie won the Nike Sports Band in the lucky draw!
I don’t know why didn’t she pose for a picture for the official photographer when she got the band.
Prolly because she know she had no make up on. LOL.
Anyway, I dropped VERY obvious hints that I like that sports band very much, hoping that she will give it to me.
She didn’t loh. I bet she ignored me on purpose.

What is a breakfast run without free breakfast? Hehe.
The complimentary breakfast was sandwiches from Subway and you can see Auntie Berry snatching food here.
Anyway, the run was supposed to be 2km.
When we turned up, they said it is 3km and it’s too late for me to back out.
I think we completed the 3km in 23 minutes, which was quite an achievement for me.
BUT! We were still one of the last few. Haha.
Winnie and Berry could have finished the run faster, but they waited for me and made sure I don’t stop running and start walking. Haha!
Looking forward to the Shape Run 2008!
