Tick Tock, Tick Tock…

The time is 3.34am now.
Ray is knocking off at 5am and I promised to stay up and wait for him.

Just 1.5 hours to go…

I must preserve perservere!

==============================

I have a bad cough since I came back from Genting.
It’s been almost a week, and I have yet to recover.

To my surprise, Eric bought Wood’s Peppermint Cough Syrup for me.

Awwww… So sweet right.
No doubt, we get along fine, but I only see him when I tagged along with Ray on their Spoonie’s gathering.
I didn’t expect that Eric will actually make the effort to buy cough syrup for me.

*touched*

Oh. And he got Children’s Cough Syrup for me.
He said it was because he don’t know if I am allergic to any medicine, and the children’s dosage is mild. So better.
But I suspected he got the children’s one to taunt me about my child-like appearance.

Duhz.

Money Woes

My salary for March 2008 was just credited into my account this morning.
Delighted, I start to make plans for a scrumptious dinner tonight.

The time is 3.40pm now.
I cleared most of my work (by working until 9.30pm for two nights!) and is just waiting for time to pass.

Decided to do some online transactions to clear my bills / installments / debts, before I squander my salary.
To my dismay, I’m left with $274.08 after repaying everything.
Ouch.

My Prudential insurance premium of $140.85, and Hitachi Credit Air-con installment of $155.00, both via GIRO, are not deducted yet.
My current assets include my transport and mobile claim of $178.35, and $200 which I lend my colleague which are yet to be credited.

So, doing some simple calculations….

Balance                $274.08
Add Assets          $378.35
Less Liabilities   $(295.85)

Total                      $356.58

I have to set aside $85.00 for transport (bus + mrt), which means I’m downto $271.58.

And I really want to get Yakuza Moon this month.
It cost about 35 bucks.
I have been yearning for this book for 2 months! And I promised myself that I will give myself a little reward this month. :(

I also wanted to get P.S. I Love You, as well as some other books by Cecelia Ahern.
In the end, I decided to borrow these books from the library to save money.

But.. Yakuza Moon is a keepsake book!
:(

Anyway, back to topic calculations, $271.58 – $35 (for Yakuza Moon) = $236.58

As there are 31 days in Jan, I have another 32 days to the next payday.
$236.58 / 32 days = $7.393125 per day.

Wx said since I don’t smoke, it should be more than enough.
Provided that I totally DON’T shop at all.

Possible?
I think not.

SIGH.

Why am I not a rich man’s daughter.

5 Months!

5.30am – A pounding sound on my bedroom window woke me up from my deep slumber.
I peeped through the curtains, and to my surprise, Ray was waiting outside my house.

He just knocked off from work and decided to pop by my place, instead of going home to rest.
Because he misses me.
*meltz*

Took a short nap, before he sent me to work.
Had a busy day at work - so busy that I don’t even have time to MSN or call Ray.

Was on medical leave on Thursday, public holiday on Friday, Weekends, and on leave on Monday again.
Close to 1 week’s break from work, so my work piled higher and higher.
I slogged till 9.30pm, and still didn’t managed to clear all outstanding work.
*sweat*

I have a spinning headache now, complete with running nose and burning throat.
Sick! And I can’t take MC.
So sad. Sniff sniff.

Happy 5 months Anniversary!

Dinner?

I can’t believe that I cannot find a single person to accompany me for dinner.
No one is available!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mei : “I’m on diet.”

Winnie : “Watching DVD with beau”

Wx : “So far.”

Plex : “I’m going to Zouk.”

Jeff : “Tomorrow on morning shift.”

Ray : “Working.”

Wah kao!!!!!!!!
I was whining non-stop that I won’t have the same problem if I am single.
And everyone agrees with me.

Guys.
-.-”

In the end, I cooked THREE packets of maggie mee for myself.
I normally eat 2 packets of mee goreng, but I was feeling really hungry so I cooked 3 packets.

Mei said I’m crazy, and indeed, I can’t finish everything and had to throw it away.
*shrugs*

There Goes My Weekend

I haven’t even start to enjoy my weekend, and it’s over.
It was not a fulfilling weekend!!

The fact that Ray was PMS-ing over the weeknd doesn’t make things better.
Though he did apologised and tried to make up for it by buying my favourite Ben & Jerry’s for me.

:)

Friday
Stayed home to accompany Butter and of cos, Raymond Ong, whom I have not seen / met for 3 days.

Saturday
Brunch @ The Soup Spoon, Bugis.
Bought a new concealer from BHG and portable hard disk from SLS.
Back home and PSP-ed till late night.
Dinner @ Bedok – My favourite mian xian (but it’s standard dropped)
Rule #1 by Fiona Xia with the Spoonies @ PS.

Sunday
Brunch @ Bedok, a really nice Aussie Fast Food Restaurant.
Spent time with the kids at Jane’s place while poor Ray reported for work.
Back home and PSP-ed till now.

Monday blues is hitting me even before my Monday starts! :(

I am addicted to a TVB show, Heavenly In-Laws我外母唔係人.

It is on SCV Channel 55 every weekday at 8pm, but if i missed it, there is a repeat on the same day on Channel 255 at 11pm.
Hoohoo!

I hope I can make it home everynight for the show.

Random

Due to work commitments, I haven’t been seeing Butter since Monday. :(
She is still nursing a cough, and I hope she gets better for her 2nd vaccination next of end week.

Nothing much had been done for the past 2 days….

Wanted to go swimming. And there is the stupid rain.
Wanted to go Amore. And no classes fit my schedule.
Wanted to lose weight! But I finished a tub of Ben & Jerry’s alone. Tsk tsk.

I’m going to bed.
Yup, at 10.30pm. Goodnight! :)

Butter on Medication

After 2.5 days of medication, Butter finally seems better.
There is still has the occasional cough, but she is alot more lively and starts to chase me around the house again. :)

I want a photo taken with Butter badly, but it’s not easy getting her to stay still for photo-taking.
This is one of the few photos which both Butter and me are facing the camera. (and I don’t look too fat from this angle).

Candid shot taken!
Me and Butter looking at each other. Haha.

Everything is fine with Butter’, only that she is with us for a week and not yet toilet-trained.
Not her fault though; I really have no idea how to train her.
And I am away for work most of the day.

Sigh.

I’m pretty upset that I can’t squeeze more time for her.

I bought a new toy for Butter.
This chew toy can be put inside the fridge and frozen, so that it will help to numb the pain when she is teething.
Ray forbade me from freezing it though; he said Butter is recovering from a flu and will do her no good to chew on ice.

Anyway, she still like this toy very much.
I am tempted to buy more toys for her, but Ray said it’s enough. *rolling my eyes*

A few days ago, Mama Ong and me celebrated Serene’s 21st birthday.
Ray was working, and Papa Ong said it’s too late for cakes.
So it’s only the 3 of us, plus Butter.

Butter and the birthday girl.
