Good Food

Woohoo!
New Year is coming soon!

26 December 07

Sneaked off work at noon, and headed to JB for shopping and dinner.
I bought lots of DVD!

Muahahaha….

They have the whole series of Charmed, Desperate Housewives, and Sex in The City.
Didn’t buy all though, only selected a few to test the quality first.

The food which we ordered!
Yummlicious.

The jam back to Singapore was horrible and I suddenly had a spinning headache.
Slept all the way back, while Ray PSP-ed in the jam.

Yup, he PSP-ed while driving.
One of the rare occasions when he didn’t complain about driving an auto-transmission car.

27 Dec 7007

I sneaked off work again!
It was rather quiet and I’m bored to tears in office.

And, we headed to the Army Market for breakfast cum lunch cum dinner.

I ordered Beef Bee Hoon and Ray got a very cheap Japanese set at $4.50 only.
The highlight of the day was Chocolate Fondue!

Slurps.

‘Collected’ Winnie from Bugis and give her a lift to Tampines to collect her car, before we proceed to his place and slacked the evening away.

28 Dec 2007

Ray woke up with a pain in his ankle.
He sent me to work before going to the sinseh.

By the time I knocked off at 3.30pm, he practically can’t walk anymore.

Naturally, we spent Friday night at home. Not that I mind!
Cos we finally have time for…….

Building our Love Bridge!!!

We got this DIY set for $10.00 about two months ago, and he promised to build it for me.
In the end, we dilly-dally and the set had been collecting dust in his room ever since.

It was really fun building the bridge from scratch!

Though Ray gave up half-way and I had to complete it by myself.
Humph.

29 Dec 2007

The pain in his ankle is hurting like hell, and we paid a visit to his family doctor.
Amazingly, Ray still managed to drive.

Kiddos to auto-transmission car again. Haha.
Too bad, I don’t have a driving license and can’t ferry him around.

Anyway, it was a suspected case of gouts and the blood test results will only be out on Monday.
Meanwhile, he got some painkillers from the doctor.

Went back to my place for lunch and I packed some stuff to spend the next few days at his place.
There was supposed to be a drag race at Punggol, and we made our way there to check out the race.

To his disappointment, the rare had yet to start and we would have to walk a long distance from the carpark to the viewing gallery.
He decided against it as he still had to walk with the aid of crutches, so we left when the FJC peeps arrived.

Took a nap in the late afternoon, and I wanted to watch the DVD which I bought in JB.
Somehow, I didn’t manage to find the time to do so.

Dammit.

So now, I’m gonna watch my DVDs!
Ciao!

Merry Xmas!

Merry Xmas!
And this is gonna be a super long photo post. *grinz*

I heart my Xmas present!
Thanks Darling! Smuacks.

Photo editing features on the camera itself.
Ray was kind pissed that I ugly-ified him with the silly hearts replacing his eyes. Haha.

24 Dec 2007 – Xmas Eve
Celebrated Xmas eve at Kenneth & Esther’s place, and Andrew decided that the theme for the party will be fashion disaster.

To my amusement, everyone was really sporty and took effort to dress up for the theme.
More than 2 dozen of us!

Preview – Ray’s idea of a fashion disaster.

With me, before we stepped out of the house.

I was wearing a blue jumper top, with white cupped sleeves tee.
And matched with pink bermudas black leggings.
Checked with the super mis-matched red pink earrings!

Can you image that we walked around in these outfits?
Haha.

James cutted his top, and showed his nipples for the party.

It was a hilarious night and I never had more fun in my life.
In fact, all these photos are supposed to be ‘highly classified’.
There are supposed to be for private entertainment only, and NOT to be uploaded online.

But mine is a locked blog! So who cares! Haha!

Marvin trying to lick James’ hairy ‘rambutan’.

Megan and me, with Eric posing beside us!
I included my giant specs to look more disastrous.

I simply love this ‘Ru Hua’ pose.
Can you believe that she is a prim and proper secondary school teacher?

Now, for the fashion parade..

The grand prize for the outfit with most votes was a SGD100.00 angbao.
Nope, I didn’t win that. Haha.

Christmas with his spoonies.

After the party, we went to Plaza Singapura for a movie and ended Xmas eve with a high note.

One more picture of the ugly-ified Raymond!
Haha.

25 Dec 2007 – Xmas

Spent the day at Jane’s place, and we had steamboat for dinner.
We have steamboat for almost every occasion; reunion dinner, birthdays, gatherings, and now, Xmas.

(Notice that Ray is busy with my PSP; he practically PSP-ed the whole Xmas away. Humph!)

Presents for everyone! Jingyun and her presents (she got the most!)

This is Eunice.

And princess Qiqi!

Not to forget Baby Calvan, whom is growing fast.

The adults were not forgotten ; presents for Jane and Alex.

And the ideal couple, Fion Hui.

Ray got presents also!

Girlfriend-less John had to pose alone for his photo. Haha.

Had a really nice day with my family.
I love all of them.

One of the rare occasion with the Koh siblings take a complete photo together.

And, before I end the blog, another masterpiece of mine using the camera’s photo editing features!
Haha!

in love there is madness, and in madness there is reason

Good Luck Chuck is hilarious.
I think it’s even better then Heartbreak Kid.

Jessica Alba is delicious.

Googled for the movie, as I wanna find the movie poster.
To my surprise, it received very negative reviews movie critics.

For goodness sake, it’s a comedy!
Who cares if it’s ‘potty-mouthed’ or ‘brain-damaged’.
Duhz.

The Ipod Nano Killer

How can I miss out on blogging about my latest gadget???

Samsung YP-T10, from the IT Fair at Expo.

I heart my new mp3 player!
Didn’t wanna get an ipod, as I used it before and the new generation is more bulky.

Moreover, Samsung has bluetooth, whereas Ipod don’t.
And it is cheaper!

Presenting Samsung YP-T10 – the ipod nano killer.
Haha!

Next on my shopping list : 2 pairs of bluetooth headsets for Ray and myself so that we will have no dangling wires when we go rollerblading.

Dian Xiao Er

During the T3 Openhouse Tour on Sunday, we spotted Dian Xiao Er.
Special Promotion – 20% off the bill for major credit card payment on Mon – Thurs, 5pm to 8pm.

Hence, we decided to settle dinner at Terminal 3 – Dian Xiao Er.

Took a long MRT ride to Tampines cos I ‘paisei’ to make Ray come all the way to Jurong to fetch me again.
Haha.

Anyway, it was raining and by the time we reached T3, my stomach was practically growling.
Perhaps, this factor contributes to why the food taste so yummy.

The food that we ordered!

I had Sour Plum + Lime and Ray ordered hot chrysanthemum tea (boring!) .
There are set menu for 2 pax, but the dishes wasn’t to our liking and the 20% discount is not valid for set meals.

Hence, we went ala carte and order Black Chicken Soup, Mongolian Spare Ribs, Baby Kailan with Oyster Sauce + Salted Fish, and of cos, the signature dish, Herbal Roasted Duck.

It only cost us about 40 bucks in total.

Yummlicious!

I am such a cam-whore recently.
The urge for my pink Sony camera is growing strongly recently.

After dinner, we took a ride on the Skytrain to both Terminal 1 and 2.
Didn’t do anything constructive.
We just walked around both Terminals, enjoying each other’s company.

How sweet.
I guess the honeymoon phrases of all relationships are as sweet.

I wonder how long can our honeymoon last.
Haha!

Super Sunday

Ray and me woke up really early on Sunday morning.
It was the last day of the Terminal 3 Openhouse, and we don’t want to miss it.

Breakfast was settled at Coffee Bean.
I love the salmon set. Simply yummilicious.

We paid $1 each for the free and easy tour of the transit area.
Ray grumbled that it’s a waste of money, as not many shops are opened and we finished exploring within an hour.

This is the butterfly garden!
The one which bimbo Winnie asked, why aren’t there butterflies in the unopened garden.

Goodbye T3!
T3 will only be servicing flights to Europe sectors, and I doubt I have the chance to enter the transit zone in the near future. :(

After our T3 tour, we went to Fion’s place for Calvan’s birthday party.
It was quite boring, so I suggested KTV.

Winnie joined us for a 4-hour KTV ‘marathon’ in town, before we settled dinner at Marche (again).
Yawnz.

There goes my weekend.
I hate Mondays.

Step’s Wedding

I love weddings.
The lifetime union of 2 separate entities is beautiful.

Had a really fun time at Step’s wedding, even though I gotta drag myself out of bed at 6.15am as I am one of the ‘jie mei’.

She look gorgeous in the wedding gown.
:)

May both of them stay happy forever, and ever.

============================================

Heartbreak Kid is hilarious.
Haha!
